05-06 Ski Season Calendar of Events


October 1, 2005: Season passes go on sale

November 6, 2005: Youth Deer Hunting Day Kids under age 16 are allowed to hunt for deer today. Be careful in the woods!

November 12 - November 27, 2005: Deer Hunting Season This is the popular firearms season. If you go into the woods, wear bright colors.

December 31, 2005: Berkshire League High Schools RaceRace will be completed before lunchtime.* Postponed until 1/2/06, 9 AM*

January 5, 2006: Mount Anthony High School Race

January 7, 2006: Bill Koch Youth Ski League Race*Postponed until 1/8/06, 1PM*

January 14, 2006: Moonlight Dinner and Ski Tour buffet dinner in the Base Lodge followed with a ski tour by the light of the full moon.

January 21, 2006: Berkshire League High Schools RaceRace will be completed before lunchtime.

January 22, 2006: (Tentative) Berkshire League High Schools RaceRace will be completed before lunchtime.

January 26, 2006: Mount Anthony High School Race

January 28 & 29, 2006: USCSA races collegiate ski races, skate and classical. Come cheer on your favorite teams! Spectators welcome. Trails remain open to public.

February 10 - 26, 2006: XX Winter Olympics Torino, Italy.

February 11, 2006: United States Ski Team Day Prospect Mountain will donate $1 from each ticket sold today to the United States Ski Team.

February 11, 2006: Bill Koch Youth Ski League Race Race will be completed before lunchtime.

February 11, 2006: Moonlight Dinner and Ski Tour buffet dinner in the Base Lodge followed with a ski tour by the light of the full moon.

February 11 & 12, 2006: USCSA races collegiate ski races, skate and classical. Come cheer on your favorite teams! Spectators welcome. Trails remain open to public.

February 14, 2006: Massachusetts High School Championships

February 17 & 18, 2006: Williams College Winter Carnival cross-country ski competition of the top college skiers in the eastern United States. Spectators welcome. Trails remain open to public.

February 23, 2006: Marlene's Ski Marathon 5 am - 5 pm

February 26, 2006:SIDS Citizen's Race A fun race to benefit the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Association of New England. Open to skiers of all ages and abilities. Prizes.

March 11, 2006: Moonlight Dinner and Ski Tour buffet dinner in the Base Lodge followed with a ski tour by the light of the full moon.
